Short rain expected in some regions on August 16-17; rainless weather from August 18

The National Environment Agency has released the weather forecast for Georgia on August 16-19.

According to the forecast, there will be brief rain and lightning in some regions on August 16 and 17, with dry weather from August 18.

In Tbilisi, short showers are expected on August 16-17, with dry conditions on August 18 and 19. Daytime temperatures will range from +30 to +32 degrees Celsius.

Coastal areas such as Batumi, Kobuleti, Anaklia, and Poti will experience dry weather, with daytime temperatures of +28 to +30 degrees Celsius.

In Kakheti (Sagarejo, Telavi, Gurjaani, Sighnaghi, Lagodekhi, Kvareli, Akhmeta, Dedoplistskaro), short rain accompanied by lightning is expected on August 16-17, with a possibility of hail and strong winds. Dry weather is expected on August 18 and 19, with daytime temperatures ranging from +31 to +33 degrees Celsius.
