Shepherd charged for murder case of Smith family does not admit guilt

Malkhaz Kobauri, 19-year-old shepherd charged for murder of Smith family members in Khada Gorge of Dusheti region, claims that he did not kill the American couple and their child.
Kobauri told Mtskheta Regional Court that two foreign men killed them and threatened him with killing of his family members.
The court is discussing imposition of imprisonment term to Kobauri. The charged person does not plead guilty.
American couple Ryan and Lora Smith and their 4-year-old son Caleb were murdered in the Khada Gorge, Dusheti region of Georgia. Police detained 19-year-old shepherd, Malkhaz Kobauri, in connection with the case.
