Shalva Tadumadze has become a new Chief Prosecutor of Georgia.
He was elected as Chief Prosecutor by the majority of votes in the extraordinary session of the Parliament today. His candidacy was approved by 101 votes, 2 MPs voted against.
He is appointed as chief prosecutor for six years term. He will replace Irakli Shotadze, who quit the post in connection with Khorava street case several months ago.
