Sergei Stanishev, a Bulgarian politician and President of Party of European Socialists says that the European Union closely observes ongoing processes in Georgia and claims that with the achieved progress Georgia is coming closer to EU standards.

According to Stanishev, Party of European Socialists has tight contacts with the ruling Georgian Dream Party. “Be frank and ask yourself whether or not you live a freer life in free society. The answer will be ‘Yes’ and this is the achievement of Georgian Dream, Georgian government and entire Georgian society,” President of Party of European Socialists stated.
