The Kyiv Court of Appeal postpones a meeting at which they were to consider the complaint of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the preventive measure against Mikhail Saakashvili, the former head of Odessa Regional State Administration, to January 22, Front News reported.

“It is due to the events connected with one of the judges,” – Saakashvili clarifies the situation. The former President of Georgia did not clarify the exact reason.

It is the third time when the Kyiv Court of Appeal moves hearing on Saakashvili’s case. On Wednesday, January 3, the court trial on the complaint of the Prosecutor General’s Office regarding the preventive measure for Mikhail Saakashvili, the former head of Odessa Regional State Administration, was postponed to January 11. It is due to the absence of legal guarantors.

The hearing on Saakashvili’s case was again postponed by the Kyiv Court of Appeal to Wednesday, January 11, due to the absence of legal guarantors. It should have taken place today.
