Russian citizen charged for cyber crime extradited from Georgia

Andrey Tiurini, 35, Russian citizen charged for cyber crime has been extradited from Georgia. The charged person was detained in Georgia and was handed over to the US at request of official Washington.

Geoffrey Steven Berman, American prosecutor serving as the United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York thanked Georgian Chef Prosecutor’s Office and Justice Ministry for assistance.

The Russian citizen was brought to New York on September 7. He was participant of global cyber campaign. The number of victims exceeds 80 million people.
