The Georgian national rugby team hosted and defeated Romania in the semi-finals of the Rugby Europe Championship with a score of 43:5 and will play in the finals on March 17.
At the same time, “Borjghalosnebi” won the Antimoz Iveriel Cup for the eighth time consecutively. The cup is played at all international matches between the Georgian and Romanian teams.
The tradition was founded in 2002. “Borjghalosnebi” won the cup 18 times, while Romania – 6 times.
The second semi-final match between Portugal and Spain, to be held on March 3 in Lisbon, will determine the rival of Georgia in the finals.
The finals of Rugby Europe will take place on March 17 in Paris, France.
