Robert Farle: Developments in Georgia similar to Ukraine, Americans stage coup resulting in war
“We are now seeing a similar development in Georgia to that which we saw in Ukraine. This development is dangerous,” said Robert Farle, a member of the German Bundestag.
According to Robert Farle, it always starts with the EU offering a lot of money for development in the country, “making big promises, talking about democracy.”
“I have already heard Mr Roth and others do this a few times today. But nobody is talking about the fact that here in our area, in the EU, a lot of things stink, that there is a corrupt leadership at work and that then you completely lose your national independence. That is something that should be considered in Georgia. That is how it started in Ukraine too. Then the Americans staged the coup. In the end, it resulted in war.
I hope that all Georgians can live in peace and freedom and prosperity. Prosperity, peace and freedom require a good relationship, including with Russia, as is the case for Germany. The Georgians can all study how the numbers in Germany are going downhill, while in Russia the economy is growing by 4.5 percent or 4 percent. And the Georgians can earn money from this as a bridge between East and West that is neutral and should remain neutral,” he said.
