Reuters: Coronavirus helps abandoned homes find new owners in Georgia
Demand for real estate outside the city increased during the coronavirus pandemic in Georgia, reported Reuters.
Reuters interviewed the 45-year-old engineer, Lekso Charkviani who has sold more than 70 properties in the Racha-Lechkhumi region in the last two years via his Facebook page “The Lost Eden”. Charkviani does not make any money from the sales.
Due to avoid the risk of infection and work remotely from uncrowded places, the interest in suburban living has increased worldwide, added Reuters.
