Leri Barnabishvili, Head of the Department of Relations with the Regions of the Georgian Government, on Thursday, participated in the ceremony where new passenger buses were handed over to regions.
As per Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili’s decision, 51 new buses were acquired to serve the population of Kvemo Kartli, Mtskheta-Mtianeti, and Samtskhe-Javakheti regions.
The overall project aims to purchase 154 units of 8-meter buses to distribute across 38 municipalities in the country.
The buses, designed for domestic and intercity transportation, adhere to modern standards, accommodating 47 passengers and designed to be disability-friendly.
