With 83 votes, the Parliament appointed Rati Ionatamishvili, Chairman of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, as a member of the Prosecutorial Council.
Rati Ionatamishvili was put forward as a nominee for the Prosecutorial Council by the parliamentary majority.
This position became vacant following the appointment of the former Council member, Mikheil Sarjveladze, as the Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs.
