Rain expected in eastern Georgia in coming days

Rainy weather, lightning, wind, and hail are expected in most parts of eastern Georgia on 22-23 June, the National Environment Agency reported on Wednesday.

The forecasted heavy rains may trigger flooding on Georgia’s small rivers, as well as landslides and mudslides in the country’s mountainous areas, the agency noted.
