The Public Services Development Agency (PSDA) intends to issue new design ID cards beginning this summer.
Rusudan Kokhodze, the Chairman of the State Services Development Agency, indicated that the next generation of ID documents will be more secure and resistant to counterfeit.
“Citizens who hold valid ID documents and passports will not be obliged to replace them until their expiration date, and there are no plans to increase the fee,” Kokhodze added.
