Protesters use construction materials and sacks to set up roadblocks

The area near Tbilisi State University (TSU), at the intersection of Ilia Chavchavadze Avenue and Varaziskhevi Street, remains blocked, with tents erected on the road.

Members of the Daphioni movement have brought construction materials and sacks to create the blockade, asserting that this form of protest is constitutional. They have indicated that they have no plans to reopen the road.

Leaders of opposition parties, including the Unity-National Movement and the Coalition for Change, are present at the site. However, representatives from the For Georgia and Strong Georgia parties have not yet arrived.

For Georgia has clarified that while they support the protest, they will not engage in setting up tents.
