Protesters rally at President's residence, urging not to pardon Saakashvili
A group of people are rallying at the Georgian President’s residence in the capital, urging Salome Zourabichvili not to pardon jailed ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili.
The protesters said they gathered to remind President Zourabichvili of Saakashvili’s crimes.
They stressed that the Georgian President should not pardon Mikheil Saakashvili.
Saakashvili, 54, has been in a jail for more than a year, convicted of abuse of power while in office.
