Prosecutor – Mamuka Khazaradze presented a text printed on an ordinary paper
Mamuka Khazaradze, founder of TBC Bank JSC, presented a text printed on an ordinary paper, anyone could write it – Prosecutor Archil Tkeshelashvili said.
According to the Prosecutor, a medieval person handed over the paper to Khazaradze. Khazaradze declined to name the person. Tkeshelashvili said that investigation activities were ongoing to determine the origin of the letter.
Mamuka Khazaradze, Founder of TBC Bank JSC, presented the letter received from Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Internal Affairs, in Tbilisi City Court today. Khazaradze was summoned for questioning in the court. He arrived in the court together with Lawyer Zviad Kordzadze.
Kazaradze said in the court that he presented a copy of the letter and that the original had been sent to London for expertise.
On March 4, Mamuka Khazaradze, founder of TBC Bank said during the sitting of the Parliamentary Finance-Budgetary Committee that he had received a menacing letter from Giorgi Gakharia, Minister of Internal Affairs, ahead of the second round of presidential elections where Gakharia was allegedly threatening Khazaradze with ruining his reputation.
