Prime Minister to attend delivery of annual speech by President in parliament

Prime Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze, members of the government and Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze will attend delivery of the annual speech by President Salome Zurabishvili in the parliament today.

President of Georgia Salome Zurabishvili will deliver her first annual report in the parliament today.

According to the new regulations of the Parliament, the President’s report shall be followed by 10-minute speeches of chairpersons of factions that are neither in the parliamentary majority nor in minority – National Movement and Georgian Patriots. However, the National Movement will not participate in the plenary session in protest.

After that, leaders of the parliamentary majority and minority shall be given 15 minutes each, which will be followed by the President’s final speech.
