Georgian and Polish Presidents Salome Zourabichvili and Andrzej Duda met within the framework of the Ukrainian Peace Summit in Switzerland.
According to the President’s Administration, Salome Zourabichvili and her Polish colleague reviewed ongoing processes in Georgia and the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Salome Zourabichvili stressed that the October 26 elections would be a test for Georgia’s democracy and that the majority of the population supported European integration as the path for the country’s future development.
The President of Georgia highlighted that the EU member states should not apply measures and take decisions against the Georgian people and the country.
President of Poland, in his turn, reconfirmed full support for Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration aspirations saying Georgia’s place was in Europe.
