President Zourabichvili to Sandu, Zelensky: We will enter Europe together
At the Georgia Chooses European Union rally on Liberty Square, President Salome Zourabichvili delivered a speech emphasizing the importance of freedom and peace as guiding values for Georgia’s path to Europe.
“There is nothing more precious than freedom and peace. Today, here are the Georgians who enter Europe peacefully, with dignity, and as Georgians,” she stated.
Zourabichvili also addressed Moldovan President Maia Sandu and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
“Maia, I hope today will be your victory day and the victory of the European referendum. We will enter Europe together.
Volodymyr, we know you will fight for us, you will be victorious, and we will enter Europe together,” she declared.
She concluded by reaffirming Georgia’s commitment to becoming a strong ally for its European and American partners.
“When we enter Europe, we will be a partner and ally beyond your dreams. Georgia is already a winner here, and our future is victorious,” the President said.
A march Georgia Chooses European Union takes place in Tbilisi. Participants gathered at several locations and marched to Liberty Square, where the concluding event is taking place.
