Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili expresses gratitude to Hungary for helping evacuate six Georgian citizens from Kabul.
“This show of solidarity and partnership in this difficult time is very important. I’m confident that the remaining Georgians in Kabul will come back home safe very soon,” she tweeted.
Sixteen more Georgian citizens remain in Kabul now, says Deputy Foreign Minister Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, vowing that the Georgian side does its utmost to bring them back home.
