President to present annual report to parliament

“Tomorrow, February 4, the spring session will open in the Parliament, and the President Mikheil Kavelashvili will deliver a report,” the Georgian Parliament Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili, announced during the Parliament Bureau session.

“According to regulations, on the first day of the spring session, the President presents an annual report on the country’s key issues, and that is how we will begin the session tomorrow. As you know, no other issues will be discussed that day except the President’s report. Therefore, tomorrow, we will focus solely on the President’s report, and then on Wednesday and Thursday, the legislative process will begin, with discussions of draft laws and other matters. We’ll see how intensively the session week progresses. I anticipate that we may not need Friday for the session, but we will assess how we proceed,” stated Shalva Papuashvili.
