Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Thursday addressed the reception dedicated to the US Independence Day.
In her speech, the President underscored the significance of the US assistance “in this very important moment in our history.”
“Today, more than ever, we count on you, we need you, and I am convinced that we are going to be supported by you in this very important moment in our history. We need to move toward the next stage of EU integration which is at hand.
We have to count on you to move us forward toward our integration into NATO, to get more security guarantees.
We have to count on you today more than ever when the world is confronted with this incredible challenge that is the Russian aggression towards Ukraine. We have to count on you tomorrow because Ukraine will win. Ukraine’s sovereignty will be restored,” the President stated.
