President pardons 116 inmates

Georgian President Giorgi Margvelashvili pardoned 116 prisoners – Zviad Koridze, Chairman of State Pardoning Commission stated.

During a press conference Koridze reported that the 73 inmates, out of them 4 women, will have left penitentiary facilities by the end of today.

The 43 inmates, out of them 2 women, will be reduced imprisonment term. The State Pardoning Commission discussed cases of 858 prisoners during February 19-26.
