President opens Tbilisi Women's 2nd International Conference

The Tbilisi Women’s 2nd International Conference (TWIC) takes place at the ExpoGeorgia fairgrounds.

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili opened the conference, which brought together female leaders from around the world.

In her welcoming speech, President thanked the guests for attending the event.
“This conference is dedicated to peace, security, conflicts, and everything that women can do to discharge tension and improve the situation.

Women are directly affected and influenced by the war. I want to devote this day to the Ukrainian women, whose county has been bombed for over one year.

Next year, at the Tbilisi Women’s International Conference, we will speak about how to build peace in the world with new initiatives,” Salome Zourabichvili said.
