Georgian Minister for Reconciliation and Civil Equality, Tea Akhvlediani and President of Iceland, Guðni Jóhannesson, on Wednesday visited the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL) in Odzisi village.
According to the Ministry’s press office, the President of Iceland got acquainted with the security situation along the occupation line and heard detailed information from the Minister and the representatives of the State Security Service of Georgia about the current situation in the occupied regions.
“It is essential and extremely important to inform international partners about the severe consequences of the ongoing illegal occupation in Georgia, as well as their active involvement and continued support in the process of peaceful resolution of the conflict,” Akhvlediani noted.
