President of Azerbaijan – Baku-Tbilisi Kars Railway to become important element of Silk Road

Baku-Tbilisi Kars Railway will become an important element of Silk Road- Ilham Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan claimed.

“The railway will not only connect three countries but also Europe and Asia. This will be the shortest road from Asia to Europe. The railway line is already serving companies,” President of Azerbaijan stated.

According to Aliyev, the project is the best example of regional cooperation among Georgia, Azerbaijan and Turkey.
