President of Armenia to visit Georgia today

President of the Republic of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan and First Lady Rita Sargsyan will pay an official visit to Georgia today.

The President of Armenia will hold meetings with Georgia’s President, Catholicos-Patriarch, Prime Minister and Parliament Speaker.

The official welcome ceremony will be held at the Presidential Palace of Georgia, which will also host face to face meeting between two presidents and extended meeting of delegations, after which, statements will be made for Georgian and foreign media.

Serzh Sargsyan will also lay a wreath at the memorial of the soldiers soldiers fallen for Georgia’s unity and independence and will honor their memory.
