Polish President: Poland to support Georgia on its path to European, Euro-Atlantic integration
Polish President Andrzej Duda congratulated the people of Georgia on Independence Day.
President Duda pledged Poland would support Georgia on its path to European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
“Georgians, we have been waiting for you in United Europe for centuries, you are part of its heritage, we are waiting for you in NATO as you are a proud nation that deserves freedom, security, and building its future.
The open-door policy of NATO and the EU should be maintained amid the current situation. I want to emphasize that Poland, as your reliable ally, spare no effort to back Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration,” said Polish President in his speech at the Independence Day ceremony.
Georgia marks Independence Day today, the day when the Act of Independence was adopted in 1918 and the First Democratic Republic of Georgia established.
