PM – With strict rules and discipline, we should prevent spread of the virus
With strict rules and discipline rather than restrictions and stopping economy, we should prevent spread of the virus – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said during the governmental sitting.
According to PM, any restriction, which may be imposed, will be local and not acting throughout the country. He claimed that in case of restrictions, they will not refer to economy, education and election process.
“When we imposed strict restrictions and declared state of emergency, we took into consideration both the available resources and condition of the health system. Georgian health system is relatively weak unlike that of many developed countries but it managed to cope with the challenge well.
We should not have an illusion that the health system radically changed in 6 months. With strict rules and discipline rather than restrictions and stopping economy, we should prevent spread of the virus. Any restriction, which may be imposed, will be local and not acting throughout the country. The restrictions will not refer to economy, education and election process,” Gakharia claimed.
