PM: We will overcome artificial obstacles, Georgians and Abkhazians will live together in united state
During a regional election campaign event in Zugdidi, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze emphasized the importance of peace for the country’s progress and development. He stated that the Georgian Dream government is the only administration since Georgia’s independence that has not experienced war, making its victory essential for maintaining peace and ensuring a prosperous future for the Georgian people.
“There is a dividing line a few kilometers from Zugdidi, which artificially separates us from our historical territory – Abkhazia. This line artificially separates us from our Abkhaz brothers and sisters beyond the Enguri River. I am confident that the time will come when we will remove these artificial obstacles, and Georgians and Abkhazians will live together in a united state,” he said.
He urged the gathered population to unite for the crucial elections on October 26, stressing that their participation is vital for safeguarding peace, dignity, and prosperity.
“October 26 is our day! Georgian Dream will win, the Georgian people will win, and the Georgian state will win!” Kobakhidze concluded.
