PM - Today, Georgia is ready for NATO membership, our partners see it
Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said that Georgia is ready for NATO membership and the partners see and appreciate that.
“Despite accusations, speculations with the fate and future of the country out of concrete interests of specific persons, we manage and deepen our strategic partnership in our main strategic directions. This is NATO, Euro-Atlantic integration, the US, the EU – no matter the speculations our relations with strategic partners aren’t under danger.
On the contrary, these strategic relations in the last years have developed so farther that never before. The result of this is such statements. Today, Georgia is totally ready for NATO membership, our partners see it and appreciate it. Naturally, this is a process. We’ll accomplish this goal and everybody should understand that Georgia’s Euro-Atlantic integration and peaceful development is a necessary precondition for reestablishing the territorial integrity of the country,” Gakharia claimed.
US Congressman Adman Kinzinger stated during the international online conference that time has come for Georgia’s full membership of NATO.
