PM to participate in various panel discussions in Davos, Vice PM says
Georgia’s Prime Minister, Irakli Garibashvili, will engage in various panel discussions at the Davos World Economic Forum, announced the Economy and Sustainable Development Minister, Vice Prime Minister, Levan Davitashvili.
The Vice PM expressed optimism about the potential productivity of meetings focusing on business projects.
“Davos is an important platform at the beginning of the year where business gathers, shaping opinions on crucial trends. From a practical standpoint, Davos holds great importance as a place where crucial decisions regarding particular projects and investment directions are made. This direction is of particular interest to us.
In recent years, Davos has become an important political platform in addition to its economic role. Therefore, our high-level participation is vital for the country’s overall awareness and reputation,” noted Davitashvili.
The Vice PM highlighted the PM’s participation in panel discussions and meetings with global businesses. The discussions encompass a broad spectrum, including financial services, transport, logistics, construction, retail, and more.
“We anticipate productive discussions and decisions from leading companies regarding potential investments in Georgia,” he added.
