PM to nominate Lagodekhi mayoral candidate

Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili nominated Jondo Mdivnishvili as the mayoral candidate of the Georgian Dream (GD) party in Lagodekhi, Kakheti.

The Head of the Government stressed mayors should focus on problem-solving in their municipalities.

“There is no alternative political force to the Georgian Dream in the country. Opposition parties even fail to nominate their candidates. However, I am not going to speak about our opponents here. Our foes are poverty, acute problems. Resolution of these problems should be our main target,” PM claimed.
