Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, alongside world leaders, will participate in the Ukraine Restoration Conference (URC2024) in Berlin on June 11-12.
According to the Government Administration, the event aims to mobilize international support for Ukraine’s recovery, reconstruction, reforms, and modernization.
URC2024 will focus on four thematic areas: mobilizing the private sector for recovery and economic growth, social recovery and human capital for Ukraine’s future, restoration of municipalities and regions, and accession to the European Union and related reforms.
The conference will also cover macroeconomic stability, sustainability and security, infrastructure, housing, energy, environmental protection, healthcare, and education.
This high-level political event, hosted for the first time by an EU member state, will feature heads of state and government, ministers, representatives of international organizations and financial institutions, business and civil society organizations.
