PM: There will be no crisis in our country. State is in its rightful place
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Wednesday said, “There will be no crisis in our country, and If anyone wants to repeat the scenario we went through after the 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia, this attempt is doomed to failure.”
Kobakhidze was asked about the Financial Times article titled – “The West should prepare for the crisis in Georgia”.
As the head of the government noted, “The state is in its rightful place.”
“There will be no crisis in our country. You can see that the state is in its rightful place, up to the challenge, including law enforcement agencies, which are meeting their responsibilities. Georgian society has witnessed this, particularly over the past few months.
Consequently, no one can create any crisis. If anyone wants to repeat the scenario we went through after the 2020 parliamentary elections in Georgia, this attempt is doomed to failure. You can’t step into the same river twice.
Therefore, if anyone harbours such thoughts, I advise everyone to set them aside,” Irakli Kobakhidze declared.
