PM: Summoning Georgian Ambassador in Lithuania over Transparency Law adoption 'requires reaction'

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday said, summoning the Georgian Ambassador in Lithuania regarding the Transparency Law adoption in Georgia “requires a reaction,” deeming the fact “simply impudence.”

PM Kobakhidze stated, “It is incomprehensible when the Estonian Prime Minister does not know what her Foreign Minister is doing.”

Georgian PM added that the Estonian Prime Minister’s comparison of the current Georgian processes with the Ukrainian Maidan [protest], “which has plunged our friendly country into trouble, is absolutely unfathomable.”
