PM – Social assistance to those who lost their jobs will be more than 150 GEL

The social assistance to those who lost their jobs and income due to coronavirus pandemic should not be less than living minimum per month – Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said.

According to PM, the assistance will be more than 150 GEL because this amount is less than a living minimum.

Gakharia commented about the information released by the International Monetary Fund which said that the government would finance those who lost their jobs by 150 GEL. PM clarified that this was an old scheme but was published due to the technical error.
