PM praises police officers for 'invaluable work, professionalism, patriotism'

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday congratulated law enforcement officers on the Police Day.

PM Kobahidze praised the police officers for their “invaluable work, professionalism, and patriotism” and pledged to stand behind them.

“The police’s reputation and the people’s trust in them are the most important public achievement,” declared the head of the government.

“Highly skilled, constantly evolving police force, which ensures every citizen’s protection, is a guarantee of Georgia’s strength and security, a prerequisite for its advancement.” The Georgian prime minister expressed gratitude to law enforcement officers for demonstrating “great professionalism and patriotism” in the recent developments in the country, adding that “The Georgian police operate at a higher standard than the European and American ones.”
