Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia met the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Sweden’s Minister for Foreign Affairs Ann Linde.
According to the governmental administration, the current situation across Georgia’s occupied territories and ongoing democratic reforms were the main topics for discussion.
Ann Linde reaffirmed OSCE’s support to Georgia in conflict resolution and institutions’ strengthening.
Parliament Speaker Archil Talakvadze and the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office talked about political and strategic cooperation-related issues.
Archil Talakvadze underlined that Linde’s visit served as confirmation of the OSCE’s solidarity and friendship with Georgia.
During the visit, Ann Linde will meet with Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili, State Minister for Reconciliation and Civic Equality Tea Akhvlediani, MPs, and civil society. She will also visit Khurvaleti village located near the occupation line. Ann Linde already met Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani.
