Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will chair the government commission, which will support holding the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival – Bakuriani 2025.
At the government’s order, the commission will ensure coordination with the organizations involved in organizing the festival and prompt resolution of all related issues.
The commission comprises Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development/First Vice Prime Minister Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Culture and Sports Tea Tsulukiani, Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri, Finance Minister Lasha Khutsishvili, Government Administration Head Levan Zhorzholiani and State Security Special Service Head Anzor Chubinidze.
Other officials and organizations may be invited to join the commission’s work upon necessity.
The 2025 European Youth Olympic Winter Festival will be held in Bakuriani Resort of Georgia, from 9 to 16 February 2025.
