PM Kobakhidze's participation in URC proves Georgia spares no effort to aid Ukraine, FM says

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili says PM Irakli Kobakhidze’s participation in the 2024 Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) in Berlin “anew proves that Georgia spares no effort within its capabilities to aid the country that is currently at war.”

“The Prime Minister of Georgia, like other leaders, will take part in this event. Irakli Kobakhidze will have a specific address in this roundtable format, and then he will deliver a separate statement regarding Ukraine’s support,” Ilia Darchiashvili told media outlets.

The URC2024 takes place under the motto “United in defense. United in recovery. Stronger together” on June 11-12. It is a continuation of the annual series of high-level political events dedicated to the swift recovery and long-term reconstruction of Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war of aggression against Ukraine.
