PM Irakli Kobakhidze attends opening of 79th UN General Assembly session

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze attended the opening of the general debate for the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

The session commenced with addresses from the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the President of the General Assembly. Notable leaders, including Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, US President Joe Biden, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, also spoke to the participants.

The theme for the general debate at this session is “Leaving No One Behind: Working Together to Advance Peace, Sustainable Development, and Human Dignity for Present and Future Generations.”
