PM hails border delimitation process between Armenia, Azerbaijan, vows willingness to continue contributing to regional peace
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze welcomed the kick-off of the delimitation process of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan, pledging Georgia to be ready to continue contributing to peace and stability in the region. “The Armenia-Azerbaijan accord lays the groundwork for a final peace deal between the two countries.”
During a joint press point with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Kobakhidze said, “Georgia backs the formula of peaceful coexistence in the South Caucasus and is always willing to contribute to the peace-building and constructive cooperation efforts in the region.”
