PM: Georgian citizens to have high-quality COVID-19 vaccines

The Georgian citizens will have high-quality Covid-19 vaccines authorized by the international organizations, said Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia during the governmental sitting on Friday.

Gakharia said that absurd rumors spread publicly. He noted that a special commission would deal with the logistics, general vaccination plan, and timely import of the vaccine.

According to PM, Georgia will get the vaccine both through the Covax platform and other sources. The Health Ministry will present the plan at the Coordination Council on Monday.

“There is no ground to have questions. The Georgian citizens will have high-quality vaccines that would be approved and authorized by corresponding international organizations,” Giorgi Gakharia claimed.
