PM Gakharia: Territorial integrity to be a top priority

The Acting Prime Minister of Georgia, Giorgi Gakharia, addressed the heads of Georgian diplomatic missions abroad. The annual meeting, Ambassadors’ Conference 2020 – Foreign Policy Priorities of Georgia amid Global Pandemic – New Challenges and Opportunities, is underway in an online format due to the pandemic.

Gakharia thanked the ambassadors for pushing the occupation and territorial integrity issue in the world despite the challenging global environment. He stressed that the territorial integrity of the country would be a top priority under any circumstances.

“This is the main challenge for our country; no matter what environment we live, work or do politics, the occupation and territorial integrity of the country would be a top priority. We must do everything possible to remind everyone that the occupation and territorial integrity are Georgia’s number one challenge in the world full of challenges”, Gakharia said.
