PM: Delay in EC's opinion reflects Global War Party's lack of hope for elections

“The European Commission’s hold in publishing its opinion regarding the post-election period indicates that the Global War Party has no hope of winning elections in Georgia,” stated Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

According to the Prime Minister, the opposition consistently loses elections, prompting the Global War Party to likely redirect its focus to post-election developments.

“We frequently discuss processes that are significantly influenced by the Global War Party. The postponement of the European Commission’s opinion until after the elections suggests that the Global War Party has abandoned any hope of electoral success. They recognize that the opposition is losing and are likely to concentrate on post-election processes,” he remarked.
