PM – Citizens must be fully informed to follow and trust you

Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia talked about the experience gained during the crisis of COVID-19 pandemic in Free Vision Program of Georgian First Channel.

In response to the question what the government has learnt, Head of the government said that citizens had to be fully informed to have trust in the authorities.

Also, according to PM, people have to see that caring about them comes first than political scores and ambitions when health issues matter. “This strengthens solidarity,” Gakharia said.

PM remembered that when citizens got assured that the government put caring about health as the primary concern, citizens even asked for imposition of strict measures.
