Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday said, “Georgia will definitely become a full-fledged member of the European Union by 2030,” highlighting that “EU membership is the main priority of Georgia’s foreign policy.”
The head of the government believes, “all the difficulties pertaining to the EU development and Georgia-EU ties will be overcome.”
“On May 9, 1950, the Schuman Declaration was signed, laying the foundation for the European Union.
After the Second World War, Europe was founded on values such as democracy, the rule of law, and human rights, in which the European Union and its institutions played a special role.
The long-term peace allowed the European Union to steadily grow its economy and ensure a high level of the population well-being,” the PM posted on Facebook.
