Petition of Sumomania Club: Change this unfair decision!

Levan Gorgadze (Tochinoshin), a professional sumo wrestler from Georgia struggled against No. 8 maegashira Asanoyama on the 13th day of Natsu Basho 2019 Tournament. It seemed like Tochinoshin won the struggle, but he was deprived of this victory by the referees’ decision.
This fact was followed by a number of comments in Georgian and foreign media. Most experts agree that referees’ decision was unfair.
Georgian fans of Sumomania club wrote a petition on the web page – Change.org . The fans appeal to the Japanese Sumo Association with the request to change the unfair decision.
