Person detained into case of actor Giorgi Giorganashvili is son of Catastrophe Medicine Center Head
One person was detained on drugs charge into case of actor Giorgi Giorganashvili, nicknamed “Bakhala,” Mamuka Chelidze, Head of Organized Crime Main Division of Central Criminal Police Department of Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) reported during the briefing.
Chelidze mentioned identity of the detained person with initials. However, it is known that the charged person is the son of Catastrophe Medicine Center.
A driver of a reanomobile cooperated with investigation and told law enforcers during questioning that he had handed over buprenorphine drugs to Giorganashvili on the territory of Turkey.
Giorganashvili is sentenced to 8 years in prison on charge of illegal buying and keeping of drugs.
